Camper Together x Maria Blaisse C-Shoe Boots
A red leather C-Shoe designed by Maria Blaisse for Camper Together, defined by an experimental boot shaft developed around the relationship between material, form, and movement. The extended soft leather upper naturally collapses into sculptural folds around the calf, transforming a simple boot construction into an evolving shape that changes according to how it is worn. A side buckle detail introduces a functional hardware element against the otherwise uninterrupted red leather.
The C-Shoe emerged from nearly two decades of Blaisse’s experimentation with material and form, translating her research into a wearable spiral-like construction for Camper. The design was subsequently nominated in the Fashion category of the 2009 Dutch Design Awards, where its innovative shoe/boot form and naturally folding leather shaft were specifically recognized. Part of Camper’s collaborative Together project, the C-Shoe sits between footwear and sculptural design, reflecting Blaisse’s broader practice across fashion, art, architecture, and the movement of materials.
